Here Comes Spring

I’m so grateful it’s Spring.  As years pass I realize I’m not a Winter lover.  Spring is a time for rebirth and renewal. To celebrate this special time, I’ve made more Fairy Goddesses.  I see these pieces as modern day cameos that are talismans. A talisman is a charm or object thought to bring good luck in ancient times. These Fairy Goddesses like to keep watch over their owners. They are made using the labor intensive technique cloisonné enamel.  The settings are all completely handmade using traditional silversmith and goldsmith techniques.  They are also encrusted with semiprecious or precious gemstones.
